To edit field type:

1. Go to the field attributes menu.
2. Hover over or click the current field type. Note that field type for signature and initials fields cannot be changed. Instead, delete the signature or initial field you want to change and add a new field with the desired field type.
3. Select your desired field type. If you have edited other field attributes prior to changing the field type, your edits will be lost and you will be asked to confirm the action.
